A career spent working with fashion, textiles and garment construction.

After completing a degree in Fashion Design, Ruthie began her career as a designer and stitcher within a fashion house, gaining first-hand experience of garment construction, fabrics and finishing.

She later moved into education, teaching Fashion Design and Textiles at GCSE and A Level, alongside working as an exam moderator for GCSE and A Level Textiles.

Today, she brings that experience to Ruthie's Alterations in Hunstanton. Every garment is personally assessed and worked on by Ruthie, and she'll talk through what's possible before any work begins.
